I spent time doing something that had no obligation attached to it

Dear Delyara, No outcome. No proof. No future value. No moral lesson. No brand of productivity hidden underneath. Just time that belonged to itself. I had forgotten how deeply repairing that can be. To let an hour stay unnecessary in the social sense and still entirely worthwhile in the emotional one. That hour gave me something back this week. I think it was some version of self I misplace too often.
