Small JoysHobbies
I spent twenty minutes with my old sketchbook and did not try to turn it into anything impressive
Dear Delyara, No side business. No content. No proof of talent. No “maybe I should get serious about this.” No productivity attached at all. Just a pencil, the old sketchbook, and twenty minutes of drawing badly enough to remember why I used to like it in the first place. I had forgotten how alive a person can feel doing something without extracting value from it beyond the doing. That was the joy. No future attached. I need more of that in my life. Small useless aliveness.
