I started taking the walks seriously instead of calling them “nothing”
Dear Delyara, I have always been too quick to dismiss small useful things because they don’t look dramatic enough to count as transformation. A twenty-minute walk, a little more water, going to bed earlier, stretching, breathing properly, taking the vitamins regularly — none of it looks impressive, so I treat it like almost nothing. This week I stopped doing that. I took the walks. I let them count. I felt the difference. No miracle happened. I still have stress, work, family, noise, and ordinary life. But my body felt less trapped in itself by the end of the week. That is not “nothing.” That is health being built in quiet clothes.
