My Diary
I stayed quiet because the real answer was too layered
Dear Delyara, Someone asked me something simple today, and I realized the honest answer had too many layers to offer quickly. That happens to me a lot. The truth is rarely one clean sentence. It has context, contradiction, earlier things under later things, moods shaped by practical problems and practical problems shaped by moods. It takes time to tell properly, and most moments do not hold that kind of time. So I gave the short version. And then felt unseen by my own choice. I don’t know how to stop doing that yet.
