I stayed with my own judgment instead of rushing to borrow someone else’s

Dear Delyara, That is a subtle professional win, but it felt large inside me. I had an instinct, and I didn’t immediately step away from it to see if someone else’s confidence should replace mine. I stayed. Thought. Trusted myself a little longer before searching the room for permission. That’s new enough to feel important. I think some of the deepest career growth has nothing to do with titles or outcomes. It has to do with whether I remain on my own side in the room. This week, I did more of that.
