I stayed with my own thought a little longer than I used to

Dear Delyara, That was the shift. I didn’t immediately look for someone else’s certainty to replace mine. I let my own thought stand, breathe, take up space. It felt small in behavior and very large internally. I think a lot of my career growth now has to do with remaining on my own side more consistently in rooms where I once would have quickly stepped away from myself. This week, I did that better. And it felt good.
