I stayed with reality instead of with dread

Dear Delyara, The facts were not easy. Still, they were kinder than dread. That is something I’m learning. Dread expands everything. Reality stays more proportionate when I can actually remain in the room with it. This week I stayed longer than usual with what was true and did not immediately disappear into emotional fog. That is a real victory for me. Because staying with reality gives me back movement.
