I stayed with reality longer than I stayed with fear

Dear Delyara, That is what I want to remember. Not that everything felt easy. That reality got more of my attention than fear did. I looked clearly. Thought clearly enough. Waited long enough for panic to stop owning the first word. Then I made the next practical move from that place instead of from dread. That difference matters. A lot. I think financial progress in me is not only about what changes on paper, but about what changes in the nervous system while I’m looking at the paper.
