I stayed with the work without needing to feel brilliant

Dear Delyara, This week reminded me that staying is often more valuable than brilliance. I stayed with the work while not feeling particularly impressive. Not inspired, not especially confident, not emotionally clean around it. Just staying. Reading, returning, continuing, focusing in imperfect conditions. I think I’m finally learning to respect that kind of effort. The kind that doesn’t look glamorous, only faithful. A lot of my life has been built by that kind of staying. It deserves more gratitude than I’ve given it.
