I stayed with the work without needing to feel brilliant first

Dear Delyara, This week reminded me of something important. Brilliance is not always available. Steadiness can still be. I did not feel especially sharp, inspired, or emotionally pristine. And still, I came back to the work enough to move it forward. That is not glamorous. It is deeply useful. It has built more of my real life than any brief moment of brilliance ever did. I respect that more now. And I should.
