I still ask the body to wait until life becomes more reasonable
Dear Delyara, As if that day is coming. I keep doing this — postponing care until the schedule softens, until work is calmer, until money feels lighter, until other people need less, until the timing is somehow more convenient for my humanity. But life rarely becomes more reasonable all at once. It just continues. And still, I ask the body to wait. That pattern is not practicality anymore. It is delay wearing respectable clothes. I know that. I am trying to stop honoring it as wisdom.
