The UnknownUncertainty
I still confuse waiting with danger
Dear Delyara, If something is unresolved, my system rarely treats it as neutral. It treats it as a live wire. Something to track, prepare for, emotionally guard against. It’s hard for me to simply wait. I rehearse instead. I predict. I populate the silence with possible losses. That is exhausting. And very old in me. I wish uncertainty felt more spacious and less like a corridor with alarms hidden behind the walls.
