The WeightGuilt
I still feel guilty for becoming harder to reach when I’m low
Dear Delyara, Part of me still believes goodness means availability. So when I go quieter, slower, less responsive, more inward, guilt arrives fast. Even if the reason is genuine overwhelm. Even if the retreat is responsible. Even if it prevents me from becoming sharper, colder, or less kind later. I know this pattern is unfair. It is still deeply installed. I’m trying to learn that rest, slowness, and reduced access are not moral failures. Some days I believe it more than others.
