I still feel guilty for needing rest early

Dear Delyara, If I’m fully falling apart, then rest becomes understandable. If I act earlier than that, guilt still arrives. That is such a destructive pattern, and I know it. I know that by the time I am obviously exhausted, I have already gone too far. Still, some cruel part of me keeps acting as if earlier care needs stronger proof. So I stay up too late. I answer one more message. I do one more job. I keep going until I’m irritable enough that everyone else can now see what I should have respected earlier by myself. I’m trying to change that. But guilt still speaks first some nights.
