The WeightGuilt

I still feel guilty when I need more softness than the week is offering

Dear Delyara, A gentler tone. Less pressure. Less noise. More room. More sleep. More understanding. More patience from the people around me. More patience from myself. On bad weeks I need all of that more sharply, and still some cruel voice in me acts as if needing softer treatment is an embarrassing personal weakness rather than a sane response to being overused. I am tired of that internal cruelty. Because the week is already heavy. Then guilt comes and turns the weight into shame. And shame is what makes normal exhaustion feel like failure instead of information.
