I still grieve how lonely two people can become while staying outwardly loyal to the structure

Dear Delyara, That is one of the saddest adult truths I know. Loneliness inside marriage can be difficult to name because the structure itself hides it. There is still a shared life, shared timing, shared language, shared responsibilities, maybe even shared affection in some form. And yet the deeper emotional bridge can still thin while the outer architecture remains impressive enough to keep the world from asking difficult questions. That kind of loneliness frightens me. Because it looks so normal from the outside.
