The PlotLost Ambition

I still move, but less from hunger than from habit

Dear Delyara, That is the sentence I cannot stop thinking about lately. I still move. I still do what needs doing. I still make plans. But the movement feels less like hunger and more like habit in some areas of my life. Less desire. More continuation. Less bright wanting. More obligation mixed with caution. I don’t know whether that’s adulthood, wisdom, burnout, or grief. I only know I miss the cleaner fire of wanting. That loss feels quiet enough to overlook. And significant enough to shape everything.
