I still move through the day, but with less internal color

Dear Delyara, Burnout for me is not dramatic enough to be seen quickly. I still show up. Still answer. Still complete things. Still look mostly capable. What has changed is color. The internal brightness, interest, spark, even tenderness around ordinary life. Everything feels more flattened than it should. Less vivid. Less inhabited. Like I’m maintaining structure without enough life in the structure itself. That kind of depletion is hard to explain because it looks so close to functioning. It just doesn’t feel like living.
