I still revisit one chapter more than I admit

Dear Delyara, There is a period of my life I still return to more than I let anyone know. Not because I want to stay there. Because some part of me still thinks there was a better version of that story available if only I had been braver, clearer, less lonely, less afraid, less willing to settle. I know that regret is repetitive, not productive. It still visits. Especially at night. Especially when I am tired. Especially when life now feels uncertain enough to make old choices seem unusually loud.
