I still treat low energy like a problem to out-argue
Dear Delyara, That is the habit I’m trying to undo. If I feel low, tired, thin-skinned, body-heavy, my first instinct is still too often to negotiate with it rather than respect it. Maybe later. Maybe after this. Maybe it’s not that bad. Maybe I can override it if I phrase things sternly enough inside my own head. That’s such a hostile way to relate to capacity. And still, it shows up. I don’t want to keep living as if my body is a weak employee who needs firmer management. It is not. It is me.
