I still want care that reaches the nervous system, not only the practical life

Dear Delyara, I know practical care matters. I don’t dismiss it. But some days I can feel the gap so clearly between being helped and being emotionally met. One solves a visible issue. The other lands in the body as safety. And I still ache for the second form more than I know how to say cleanly. Maybe that ache stays because it was formed so early. Maybe because the nervous system remembers absences more stubbornly than the mind does. Whatever the reason, it is still here.
