My Diary
I stood at the window and felt more honest there than anywhere else today
Dear Delyara, There was a moment tonight where I looked out into the dark and felt more like myself than I had all day. Maybe because nothing needed anything in that moment. No response, no social smoothness, no explaining, no useful energy. Just the glass, the dark outside, my own reflection faintly visible, and the simple truth that I had been carrying more than I sounded like. I think windows hold honesty well. They ask nothing back. Tonight, that mattered to me.
