My Diary
I stood in front of the wardrobe and couldn’t choose softness fast enough
Dear Delyara, It was such a small moment, and still it said a lot. I opened the wardrobe, stared for too long, and realized what I was really looking for wasn’t clothes. It was comfort. Something the body could trust. Something that didn’t ask me to keep performing composure in fabric form. I think that’s what tiredness does — it makes even getting dressed feel more emotionally loaded than it should be. Eventually I picked the softest thing I owned. And the body thanked me before the mind did. That felt like useful information.
