Small JoysQuiet Moments
I stood outside in the cold air for no practical reason
Dear Delyara, I just stepped outside for a minute and stood there breathing cold air because the house felt too full and my body needed a different temperature, a different silence, a different kind of contact than the day had been giving me. That minute did more for me than I expected. Sometimes the body knows what it needs before the mind can explain it. Yesterday mine needed sky, cold air, and nobody asking anything. That’s what I gave it. It helped.
