I stopped shrinking my ideas before offering them

Dear Delyara, This week I noticed I no longer soften every thought into near-invisibility before speaking it. That is not a loud victory. It still feels important. I’m less likely to apologize before I’ve even said the thing. Less likely to assume my perspective is too much. Less likely to edit myself into harmlessness. That shift has changed not only how I work, but how I feel in my own presence afterward.
