I think something is wrong in the emotional architecture of my life

Dear Delyara, That is the hardest part. The complexity. Because I do have things. Family. Home. Structure. Work. Love in some forms. Responsibilities that exist because life did happen, not because it didn’t. And still, underneath all that, I can feel that something in the design is too extractive. Too much access, too much function, too much usefulness, too little restoration, too little aliveness that belongs only to me. That is not a complaint against every visible piece of my life. It is a feeling about the whole arrangement. And because it is structural rather than dramatic, I don’t always know how to speak it aloud without sounding like I am denying the good that also exists. So I stay quiet. And the body keeps speaking for me in tiredness instead.
