The UnknownOther
I think the life I am surviving is not built in a way that allows me to remain fully alive inside it
Dear Delyara, That is the sentence I keep circling. Not that my life is terrible. Not that I am ungrateful. Not that one thing is catastrophically wrong. But that the structure itself feels increasingly unfriendly to the person inside it. Too much access, too much practical demand, too much emotional labour, too little restoration, too much usefulness, too little room for personhood that does not justify itself through service. That’s why ordinary coping strategies feel less and less sufficient. Because the problem is not only my mood. It is the architecture. And once you start feeling that in your bones, one better week no longer feels like a solution. It feels like a pause in something you still haven’t changed.
