My Diary
I Thought About Money Before I Slept
Dear Delyara, I wish money didn’t follow me into bed. But it does. Not in a practical planning way. In a quiet fear way. A future-narrowing way. A what-if-everything-goes-wrong-at-once way. I lay there tonight thinking not just about numbers, but about what numbers mean: security, freedom, dignity, options, rest, emergency, shame. It’s hard to sleep when your mind keeps translating money into survival.
