I thought I had missed the chance, but I hadn’t

Dear Delyara, Some goals become emotional because they carry time with them. Not just desire, but shame. Not just effort, but delay. Not just hope, but the fear that hoping itself is now embarrassing because maybe the window has passed. Reaching one of those goals changed more than the outcome. It changed what “too late” means in my mind. Less truth. More fear.
