I told someone I felt low before I turned it into isolation
Dear Delyara, When I feel low, my first instinct is often to go quiet, get efficient, disappear into chores, and tell myself I’m just tired until the loneliness grows thick enough to feel normal. Yesterday I interrupted that earlier than usual. I told the truth while it was still small enough to name. Not poetically. Not dramatically. Just plainly: I feel low today. That felt vulnerable in the right way. And it changed the shape of the day. Not because I was rescued, but because I stopped carrying the whole inner truth in secret while pretending I was merely busy.
