I told the truth about how bad the fatigue has become

Dear Delyara, That some days I feel half-present inside my own life. That the tiredness is not only in my body anymore, it’s in my patience, my parenting, my ability to enjoy things, my emotional distance from myself by evening. That I am frightened by how normal I have made it sound for too long. Saying that out loud changed something in me. I think I have spent too much time protecting the room from the full reality of what I feel. This time I didn’t. And because I didn’t, the care I got back was more honest too. That felt important. Maybe more important than the appointment itself.
