My Diary
I took clean mugs out of the dishwasher and felt absurdly grateful for warm ceramic
Dear Delyara, They were still slightly warm, and I realised how long it had been since I had paused to enjoy something so small and completely ordinary. I think life becomes harder than it looks when too much of it is built around interruption, hurry, and emotional management. Then something as simple as holding a clean warm mug can suddenly feel like a private act of comfort rather than just a kitchen task. I stood there for a second with two mugs in my hands and let that warmth reach me. No one else would have called that a moment. To me, it was.
