I took the pain seriously while it was still quiet

Dear Delyara, Usually I wait too long. I negotiate, minimise, adapt, and make do until the body gets louder and angrier about not being listened to. This week I didn’t wait for that stage. I noticed the early signs, booked what needed booking, and treated the discomfort like information rather than inconvenience. It felt mature in a kinder way than I’m used to. Not stoic. Respectful. I’m trying to become someone who doesn’t demand dramatic evidence before offering my own body care.
