I trust difficult moods less than I used to

Dear Delyara, That might be the clearest sign of progress in me. I still get low. Still anxious. Still too sensitive some days. Still overwhelmed by things that seem smaller from the outside than they feel from within. But I trust those moods less as absolute truth. I no longer let every hard moment tell me who I am. And that space — that small but life-changing space — has made me safer to live with from the inside. I want to remember that tonight.
