I trust myself more quickly than I trust the hard mood now

Dear Delyara, That may be one of the greatest changes in my life. The hard mood still comes. The sharpness still comes. The low weather still comes. But increasingly, I trust myself more quickly than I trust the mood. That shift is enormous. Because it means I am no longer automatically handing the story over to the worst feeling in the room. I have become a steadier witness to myself than I used to be. And that steadiness changes everything, even when the mood itself has not yet passed. I want to honor that tonight.
