I trusted my own idea before hearing it back from someone else

Dear Delyara, This week I noticed a subtle but important shift. I had a thought, an opinion, a direction — and instead of immediately looking around the room for someone else’s certainty to confirm mine, I stayed with my own. I let the thought exist with full dignity before it was reflected back to me. That felt new. I think confidence for me is becoming less about volume and more about not abandoning my own mind in public quite so quickly. That matters deeply. Even if no one else saw the moment.
