I trusted my own judgment without waiting for permission

Dear Delyara, This week I made a decision and noticed something important afterward: I did not spend the next hour searching other people’s reactions for proof that I had been allowed to think that way. That felt new. I think a lot of my professional growth now is not about becoming louder. It is about becoming less dependent on borrowed certainty. Letting my own judgment stand before the room has fully blessed it. That shift feels small in behavior. Huge in identity. I’m proud of it.
