I trusted my own thought before hearing it approved

Dear Delyara, That felt like a meaningful moment this week. Not because the decision was especially public or grand. Because I noticed that I no longer needed someone else’s certainty quite so urgently before I could stand by my own. I had a thought, and I let it remain mine long enough to respect it. That is changing me. I think confidence for me is becoming less about sounding strong and more about not abandoning myself in rooms where I once would have quickly stepped aside from my own judgment. That feels good. And clean.
