I trusted my own timing in the room

Dear Delyara, This week I didn’t rush to speak just to prove I belonged there. I listened, stayed with my own thought, and spoke when I actually meant to. That felt like a different kind of confidence than the one I used to chase. Less about sounding strong, more about trusting that my presence does not need to be defended through speed. That may seem small. To me, it felt like self-respect in action. I left the room feeling more intact than usual. That matters.
