I trusted the first signal instead of demanding the louder one
Dear Delyara, That matters more than most people would guess. The body whispered, and I listened. I did not wait for the crash, the headache, the snapping, the emotional roughness, the visible exhaustion that would have made care easier to justify. I answered sooner. I’m trying to build a different relationship with health now. One that doesn’t require dramatic evidence before kindness becomes legitimate. This week, I practiced that. It felt wise. And slightly emotional too. Because earlier care is still new enough in me to feel like tenderness.
