My Diary
I turned off my phone and realised how physically reachable I’ve been living
Dear Delyara, The phone goes face down and I still feel it in the body — the expectation, the interruption, the access. School, work, family, one friend who sends voice notes too long for the energy I actually have, one person I should reply to, one person I don’t want to reply to but know I probably will. Tonight I turned it off fully. The silence that followed made me understand something. I am not only tired of tasks. I am tired of access.
