My Diary
I turned the light off earlier than usual
Dear Delyara, Tonight I turned the main light off earlier than usual and let the room go softer around me. I think I needed less visibility. Less sharpness. Less sense that the day was still fully active and expecting something from me. Bright light can make everything feel too defined when I’m already emotionally tired. The chair looks like a task. The table looks like evidence. The room itself starts feeling like another thing I should be handling better. In softer light, I can breathe a little more honestly. Nothing dramatic changed. I just felt less confronted by my own life.
