Dear Delyara, Not just company. Accurate company. Someone who could feel the room I was in emotionally. Someone who didn’t need a dramatic performance in order to understand I was carrying more than I was saying. Someone who could sit with quiet without making it awkward or trying to improve it too quickly. I think that’s what I mean when I say I feel lonely now. Not simply alone. Inaccurately accompanied.
