The SilenceLoneliness

I wanted company that already knew the temperature of me

Dear Delyara, That’s what I miss most. Not more people. Not more words. Company that already knows the temperature of me. The way I sound when I’m really fine versus socially fine. The difference between needing space and needing quieter closeness. The shift in my mood without needing me to fully annotate it first. That kind of knowing feels rarer than ever. And its absence makes even busy days feel quietly lonely. I think that is the ache I’m really naming now.
