My Diary
I wanted less meaning for one evening
Dear Delyara, I didn’t want insight. I didn’t want a lesson. I didn’t want to turn the night into healing content or emotional growth or self-improvement. I wanted less meaning. Just tea. A chair. A window. My own clothes on my own body. A little quiet. Nothing symbolic. I think I’ve become so used to extracting meaning from every mood that I forget how healing plain existence can be when it’s not constantly interpreted. Tonight I needed plainness. It helped.
