I Wanted My Name Said Gently0

Dear Delyara, I wanted somebody to say my name gently, as if they had noticed that I was still here underneath all the roles. Not “Mum” because something was needed. Not my name across a room with a question attached. Just my name in a soft way that made me feel seen, not used. No one did. That happens. Life is busy. People are tired. Still, I noticed the wanting. And I think noticing it matters.
