My Diary
I wanted no one to notice me for an hour
Dear Delyara, Not because I wanted to disappear forever. Just because I was tired of being emotionally legible. I didn’t want to be read, checked on, interpreted, included, asked, or reacted to. I wanted one hour where my existence made no demands on anyone and no one’s awareness of me made demands on me. That is a strange wish to admit. But it felt very real today. There are days when even benign attention feels like pressure if the inner world is already too full.
