I wanted one conversation that didn’t leave residue

Dear Delyara, That would have been enough for today. Not a perfect conversation. Just one that didn’t stay in me afterward. No replaying. No wondering how I came across. No hidden sting. No subtle emotional hangover from tone or timing or what I didn’t say. I think people underestimate how exhausting conversational residue can be. A short interaction can follow me for hours if it lands in the wrong place. Today, too many small moments followed me home. I’m tired of that.
