My Diary
I wanted one evening without a form
Dear Delyara, One form from school. One form from work. One online form for something boring and necessary. One little checkbox world after another asking to be completed by the same exhausted hands. By the time I was sitting at the table signing the last one, I felt strangely emotional. Not because forms are tragic. Because they represent such a cold administrative side of life that still has to be carried through a warm domestic body. I think some part of me is very tired of being a person and a paperwork system at the same time. Nothing about the evening felt human. Only compliant.
