My Diary
I wanted one hour without improving anything
Dear Delyara, No self-improvement. No room improvement. No mood improvement. No schedule improvement. No healing work disguised as leisure. Just one ordinary hour where nothing needed to become more efficient, more beautiful, more meaningful, more emotionally responsible, or more resolved. I think I’m more tired of optimization than I realize. It has entered everything. Tonight I chose an hour with no agenda. It felt awkward at first. Then clean. Then kind.
